What our loans cover

  • Short-term upgrade course (less than two years)
  • Language training (related to the career project)
  • Training equipment purchases
  • Qualification assessment
  • Examinations required by the regulatory body (e.g., regulated profession or trade)
  • Professional order enrolment
  • Other related expenses : child care expenses, living expenses, etc.

Eligibility requirements

  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, temporary worker or accepted refugee
  • Wish to work in the same or a related professional field
  • Require an official certificate, credential upgrade or additional training to access the Quebec labour market
  • Basic language proficiency (English or French)
  • Know the steps involved in the recognition or upgrade required to access your profession

Prepare the required documents
  1. Proof of immigration status
  2. Proof of education/diplomas
  3. Provide supporting documents for the fees related to your credentialing process
  4. Personal budget and professional plan (PDF to download, fill out and save)
  5. Updated Resume (C.V.)
  6. Proof of family income (notices of assessment or other proof of income)
  7. Proof of valid work permit with a recent paycheck (temporary workers)
  8. Proof of address (copy of residential lease or Hydro-Quebec bill)
